New Again

"You are as welcome as the flowers in May."
~ Charles Macklin

Starting over.  Again.
Our life here at Rose Cottage has been going on as usual. Thinking, dreaming, planning.
Our grandson is due to arrive in a few weeks. Wonderful times ahead!
I'm looking forward to jumping back into blogging and sharing bits and pieces of my life.
Today is rather a slow day, as Sundays always are here at the cottage. The weather has warmed up considerably lately, which calls for easy suppers and evenings spent in the porch swing.
Hope your day is sweet and slow.

  3. Oh Laurie...so good to see you again and to have you visiting my cottage.

You are so right my friend in regards to taking time out to doing other things. But unfortunately, I tend to over do it and waste so much time :(

Thank you again for visiting...it is always such a blessing to find another kindred spirit that loves to dress in laces and crochet garments :)

  5. Hello,
I wanted to find the 1st blog you posted since you started back.
I hope you will remember me....I went by Iris. ( my favorite flower)
Anyway, I had emailed you and you had given me advice. I have kept the email and reread it sometimes.
You had shared how you only knew your husband for a week before you got married. At that time you had been married for 20 years.
I've made it to 20 years. And I'm happy to say that the advice you had given to me did help.
We didn't talk alot, so I'm not sure if you'll remember me. It's ok if you don't.
I love your stlye. I live in SC and would love to find clothes like yours.
You had told me about the movies you like....pride and prejudice was one of them.....I watched them and got hooked :)
Well, I'm going to go. I know this is more like a letter.
I'm glad your back to blogging.
    Take good care of yourself.
