Flowers, Babies and Other Things

Ah, yes, the beautiful hydrangeas are blooming!

Under the sun!
I will touch a hundred flowers
And not pick one."
~ Edna St. Vincent Millay

This weekend I made myself a new handbag. I used a vintage tea towel along with some of my bits and bobs of lace. I think I will still need to add a button and little loop on the top to keep it closed. I'll have to rumage through my stash again. Here's a front and back photo ~

and the day wouldn't be complete without a photo of my favorite little fella...

  3. You found time to make a bag with a new baby in the house?! I feel like such a slacker. The little one is so dear, I forgot how much I miss having a baby around.

I've seen these around other blogs too and seeing I have a stash of old doilies etc. I will have to make one myself.
