A Simple Weekend

"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant."
~ Anne Bradstreet

Oh dear, it is supposed to get quite cold here this weekend. I guess I'll just snuggle down make a big pot of soup and save gardening chores for another day.

Actually I have a few indoor projects planned to keep me busy. I'm making another batch of lavender~rose geranium soap as well as trying my hand at liquid soap. I would like to spend some time rearranging some china in the dining room hutch and work a little on the afghan I'm attempting to crochet.

Of course there is always time to spend with our grandbaby, I can't believe he's 9 months old already!

Have a great weekend!

  5. Your grandbaby is so cute..and your daughter is so pretty..she looks like her mom!

Your weekend sounds nice. Not yet, but next time I make soap I am going to make some with tea tree oil for my daughter's skin! She buys tea tree stuff at The Body Shop, and it is expensive. Your soap sounds pretty.

  9. Well, it doesn't sound like you'll be bored when the ill-weather comes. Sounds like you'll have some fun projects to keep you busy. When you mentioned re-arranging the china, it reminded me that some cupboards in my kitchen could use a little organization help.

Your grandson is SO cute, and his mother (your daughter) looks sweet as well.

    Blessings! :)
